Stealth Armour / Stealth Drive

Is anybody finding Stealth Armour or Stealth Drives?

By themselves, they are quite weak. However, if traded in for a CVISDU, they become a very powerful item.

With the large number of people in the fleet, I suspect that La [FAM]ilia members will find 15 or more.

You may want to consider having a fleet purchase program where the fleet buys these items for a reduced cost (say 1m each) from the finders, and trades them in for a fleet CVISDU. Treat the CVISDU like the CPAI and ECAI (that is, don't go off-line with it), and many a small rogue will have a nice bonus. Of course, people could just donate them, but for many pirates, the 1m is a big step towards a new ship.

If you go for this, let me know. I haven't found any yet, but I'll donate them for a fleet-wide activity.

Bridgeburners

I've managed to find a Stealth Drive Unit. I had thought of trying to sell it on the open market (they're going for $4M and up there), but I don't have Noto, and I'm not willing to risk being offline were it to sell.

I'd be willing to sell it to the Fleet for a reduced cost, the $1M Bridgeburners suggests sure would go a good way in helping me get my Warship Mk III., especially if it means we can manage to get a C6SDU for the fleet.

If La [FAM]ilia doesn't chose to try to get a communal CVISDU (which is fine - it's just a suggestion), I recommend trying to sell all stealth gear before the second trade-in is complete.

Stealth Gear is only valuable for trade-ins (well, it has other uses, but it's way to expensive for those uses), so sell while the market is high.

* You send 15 stealth items (stealth drives/platings) to Chord. You must send AT LEAST 1 of each type of stealth items, (i.e. total of 15 items, but at least 1 of each).

The only stealth items in the game are the Stealth Drive Unit and the Stealth Plating, right? So one could trade in 14 Stealth Drive Units and 1 Stealth Plating?

At first I thought there were 15 different types of stealth items and I was scratching my head trying to think of any others, or if other items could be considered "stealth"...

At any rate, I have none of either.

I've yet to see any stealth item.

There are three stealth items now findable:

- Stealth Drive Units
- Stealth Plating
- CVI Stealth Drive - NOM

The first and second are what you use to trade in for a CVI-SDU. The last is what you use to NOM the CVISDU. It has a very nice NOM path.

I picked up a stealth plating yesterday; just wondering if we're still considering trying to get these together to trade in.

I've put in enough items for one C6DU.

I managed to find two stealth drive units...
