Quick Note - if you would like to join the Mini-War but haven't been invited, drop a line to Rarach or I.
Mini-War Primer Part 2
In the last PSA I went over some of the roles that each fleet member should take in a war. Basically, if you have high stats you should attack members of the other team with lower stats as often as possible. I will be going over low level player tactics in this PSA.
If you find that you are one of the fleet members with lower stats, you will want to stay in the shipyard as much as possible, because each time the opposing fleet attacks you, your fleet loses points. Do not worry though, there are still a few things that you can do to help your fleet and damage your opponent.
If you are a lower end player you should have two builds ready:
Raider
War Forays become available during most wars and are an effective way for low level players to strike at the other fleet. This option is available where Salvage Foray would normally be. To be an effective raider, you will need full Fuel and Energy and lots of Engines. Once you raid successfully the other fleet will be damaged and your fuel and energy will be drained - you can only Raid periodically.
Focus your build on Engines when Raiding. Then switch to Turtle as you recharge and send yourself to the shipyard as quickly as possible.
Turtle
The Turtle should be you second build. An opponent may still send you to the yard with a Turtle build, but you are much more likely to hurt him in the process if you have high shields - this softens him up for your fleetmates. If you are a lower level player you should avoid attacking the other team, instead you should attack high level players who are not in the war so that you are in the shipyard as much as possible. Do not worry, most high level players do not mind attacks from low level players - it is free exp for them.
