Today's Combat Recap was unexpected.

Sunspots have a significant impact on gameplay. A few (but not all) of the changes they introduce:

- People's location is erratically displayed
- You have a 10% chance of attacking the wrong target
- Your name is likely to be displayed as somebody else
- You can attack fleeties.
- Your Online/Offline flag is randomized.

Sometimes, these elements work together.

PeaceBreaker - that sound familiar. Well, too late to turn back now!

In this case, my target was able to get an accurate read on me - I was not represented as somebody else in their event log or in the fleet's Defense Log.

Bridgeburners superior engines bonus: +90 Hull Points.

SUCCEED: Surprise Attack! (Chance: 90%)
First attack damage bonus: + 36! (Maximum Possible: 155)
Target's Weapons Malfunction Chance increased by 29% to 49%!

With a max damage of over 20,000 and the first hit, I think that this is overkill.

HIT: Weak Signal Laser does 3,360 to [FAM] Pagangod (-2,947 HP remaining)

So that's where I know PeaceBreaker from.

When you have been hit in a sunspot, you may want to check the Fleet's Attack Log. If you were attacked by a fleetie, it will appear there.
